American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of OB/perinatal experience to work in a Perinatology Clinic setting, performing advanced MFM sonography procedures independently.
Details- Outpatient perinatology clinic setting
- Works alongside MFM sonographers, RNs, and administrative assistants
- Equipment includes GE Expert 22 and Corometric fetal monitors
- Documentation systems: Viewpoint and Meditech Expanse
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (32 hours/week)
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
- Minimum of 2 years of OB/perinatal sonography experience
- Must be able to independently perform OB limited and BPP exams, fetal biometry measurements, and fetal echo imaging (2D and color Doppler flow)
- Required imaging includes fetal cranial anatomy (CSP, Choroid Plexus, Lateral Ventricles, Falx, Cerebellum, Cisterna Magna, Nuchal Fold, Parenchyma), fetal face (profile, nose/lips, mandible, maxilla, lens/orbits), and spinal images (sagittal and transverse)
- Required cardiac views include 4CH, RVOT, LVOT, 3VV, TTV, Aortic Arch, Ductal Arch, SVC/IVC, and high/low short axis
- Allied candidates must have 6 months of active experience within the last 6 months in this role
- License required if applicable
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Independently perform the full range of MFM sonography exams including fetal biometry, fetal echo with color Doppler, and detailed anatomical surveys
- Navy or royal blue scrubs required
