Company Overview
BB Imaging has been pursuing increased access to ultrasound since 2005. Above all, we believe pregnant patients should have access to the best diagnostic services available, regardless of income or zip code. Our business model blends three important elements: highly-skilled sonographers, physician partnerships, and technology.
Highly-Skilled Sonographers
We hire and train sonographers to be experts in their field. In return, we empower them to lead long, successful careers through our industry-leading benefits, Technical Assistant partnership program, and positive company culture.
Physician Partnerships
We partner with physicians to provide turnkey sonography departments customized to their clinic, market, and growth goals. Together, we extend diagnostic ultrasound services to those who need them most.
Technology
We’re thoughtfully and intentionally redesigning maternal-fetal outreach programs to eliminate some of the most significant barriers to prenatal healthcare. Our innovative telesonography solution is designed to make geographic and financial challenges obsolete when it comes to realizing positive pregnancy outcomes.
Company History
2005
BB Imaging is founded. Liabilities include a $2500 credit card charge for a 10-pount laptop. Assets include an incredible desire to make this work.
2013
We celebrate our first regional expansion via a partnership with the Indian Health System in Oklahoma.
2014
BB Imaging begins offering obstetrical telemedicine seven years before telehealth starts trending.
2019
BB Imaging prototypes TeleScan®. Blanca loses count of the number of people who tell her this is a crazy idea.
2022
TeleScan receives FDA clearance and begins its first pilot program. To quote Back to the Future's Doc Brown, "It works!"
