*Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist (PRN - Various Shifts) - Baylor Scott & White Pflugerville Medical Center* *Location:* Pflugerville, TX *Schedule:* PRN - Coverage for Various Shifts *Facility:* Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Pflugerville *Join Our Imaging Team* Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a *PRN Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist* to join our Imaging Department at *Baylor Scott & White Pflugerville Medical Center*. This PRN opportunity is ideal for an experienced sonographer who is flexible and available to provide coverage across *various shifts*, supporting both scheduled and as-needed imaging needs. As a *Multispecialty Sonographer*, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital environment. *What You'll Do* * Perform *diagnostic ultrasound examinations* in two or more specialties according to established protocols. * Produce *high-quality sonographic images* and obtain accurate measurements for physician interpretation. * Identify, evaluate, and document abnormalities; expand exam scope when clinically appropriate. * Prepare and position patients; clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation. * Assist providers with *ultrasound-guided procedures* when required. * Maintain ultrasound equipment, perform quality control, and troubleshoot issues as needed. * Follow all *infection control, safety, and patient-care standards*. * Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and imaging staff to support efficient workflow and patient satisfaction. * Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records within *PACS and EMR systems*. * Participate in *call rotation* as required. *Why Baylor Scott & White Pflugerville?* * Flexible *PRN opportunity* with coverage for multiple shifts * Work in a *growing community hospital* serving the North Austin area * Access to *modern ultrasound technology* * Collaborative, patient-focused imaging team * Opportunity to stay engaged clinically while maintaining schedule flexibility *Benefits* * *Immediate eligibility* for health and welfare benefits (based on PRN status) * *401(k)* with *5% dollar-for-dollar match* * *Tuition Reimbursement assistance* * *PTO accrual beginning Day 1* Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level. *Requirements* * *Education:* Graduate of an *Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program* * *Experience:* Less than 1 year * *Certification / Licensure:* * Certified by *ARDMS* in at least *two specialties*, such as: * *RDMS:* AB, OB/GYN, BR, PS * *RDCS:* AE, FE, PE * *RVT* or *RMSKS* * *BLS Certification* (within 30 days of hire) * Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles * Excellent communication, patient-care, and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
