Inspira Health, the region’s leading network of healthcare providers, is seeking a Per Diem Maternal Fetal Sonographer to support our Women’s & Children’s Outpatient services in Vineland and Mullica Hill, NJ. In this day-shift role, you will perform specialized obstetrical ultrasound examinations within a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting, supporting both routine and high-risk pregnancies. You will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and midwives to deliver accurate, high-quality imaging that supports diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning. The pay range for this position is $53.00–$58.51 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform obstetrical ultrasound examinations as prescribed by licensed providers in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct routine and high-risk Maternal Fetal Medicine studies, including first-trimester screening, detailed fetal anatomy scans, Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, fetal echocardiography, and endovaginal scans
- Demonstrate knowledge of normal and pathologic fetal anatomy to produce and interpret high-quality diagnostic images
- Assist physicians with interventional procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and Inspira Health standards
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; ccompletion of an approved Ultrasound program with required continuing education credits; Cervical Length Education and Review (CLEAR) coursework encouraged
- 1-2 years of experience in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting preferred; recent graduates may be considered on a case-by-case basis based on relevant clinical experience
- ARDMS registration in OB/GYN required; ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography certification preferred
- BLS certification required
