- Echo Quality Coordinator
Description
What You’ll Do as an Echo Quality Coordinator:
- Provide clinical education and hands-on training to cardiac sonographers, students, and new hires
Oversee competency assessments, skills development, and continuing education for the Echo department
Collaborate with department leaders to ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and staff preparedness
Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for new technologies, protocols, and procedures
Assist with program development and partnerships with schools, externships, and outreach efforts
Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies as needed to support team operations
We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for this role.
Requirements
Required Education: Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
Preferred Education: Bachelors
Required License: Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Adult). Must be a registered Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) or obtain within 24 months of hire. BLS certification
Preferred License: ACLS (Adult)
Required Experience: Cardiology Echo: 2 years practicing as a sonographer.
Preferred Experience: 5 years practicing as a sonographer
